Use
Break-in period
Miramat is a high-end mat that will just get better with use and time. It will require an initial break-in to unleash its full potential. The surface will grow softer with use and provide even better friction. If you are doing cardio exercises with shoes, the mat will break in over a week or two. Slightly longer for other exercises.
Cleaning
Miramat cleans easily by applying some mild soap with a damp towel. Wipe off any soap residue with a second damp towel.
Storage
Roll the mat with the top surface facing outwards, as this will prevent corners and edges from bending up next time you will use the mat. Use the two complimentary storage straps to hold it and it is ready for storage.

I purchased my mat to use on my tiled floor while I'm doing 'dance aerobics' in front of the TV. My knees were getting a little swollen before but since I've been exercising on the mat, I haven't had any issues with my knees.

Perfect! Solid and durable with no issues, even when using hard tools on it. Still flexible and great for body stretching.
It might feel slightly firm for yoga or stretching, but it’s not a big problem. The surface has a nice non-slip coating.

Why would you any other yoga mat?
Thick (which is great for sensitive knees), durable, cat proof (my cat can't pick pieces off), luxe. I love lying on it every day it takes pride of place in my living room

This is a fantastic mat! It's been used for 4 years underneath a regularly used treadmill and some weights, and still looks brand new! It stays perfectly flat, no corner roll ups, easy to vacuum, and so grippy! One of the best features is that it has zero odour from day 1. I will be purchasing more for my kids gym/therapy room.

This is the best fitness mat . It stays put on the floor it doesn't move around. I do HIIT At home workouts. it doesn't hurt your feet after exercise you. Whilst working out feel very supported all round.

Miramat is a must buy for anyone working out at home. They are bigger and more durable than the average yoga/exercise mat and have the right amount of cushioning. With more space they are perfect for floor routines, whilst tough enough to handle whatever exercise equipment you choose to use on them. They look great too!! Working as a mobile PT I recommend them to all my clients.

I love my Miramat! I was sick of my general work out mat sliding and moving around on my floor and not being a big enough space for proper stretching and movements so this absolutely solved my problem! I only wish I'd gotten the next size up to completely cover the space!

I am using the Miramat for dancing in the VR game, "Beat Saber." It has proven to be a necessary piece of equipment (as I'm essentially playing blind with my eyes inside a VR headset) so my feet are the only thing to tell me where I am in space. I am usually either just wearing socks or I am barefoot and the textured surface has the perfect amount of grip without tripping me. The large size prevents the mat from slipping around like I have experienced with traditional yoga mats and gives me adequate play space so I can spread my wings. These mats are also incredibly affordable, and I would even suggest them as anti-fatigue mats for workplaces where you would expect to pay even more for a mat a fraction of this size.

Such a great mat. We use it in the Games Room to protect the carpet when the kids workout, as well as when I have clients here for Restorative Yoga. Great size, super comfy, non-slipy mat. Highly recommended.
I purchased our first 200x120 Miramats in 2021. Jane at Miramats was very easy to deal with, and the mats were ordered on a Friday and delivered the following Monday. They were exactly as described. No odor and were not what I would call hard, but have definitely softened with use. They are easy to clean - a quick vacuum and wipe over with a damp cloth is all they need. 2 years on, after daily use, for multiple classes a day, they look as good as the day they arrived. When I needed more mats I purchased one from a different brand, because it looked the same and was cheaper, so I thought it was worth a try, but it just isn't the same quality - it is hard and hasn't softened as promised. So when I needed to buy mats for our suspension trainers I went back to Miramat and bought 4 Megamats in 2022. And then more 200x120 for our new Yoga room this year. They are the best mats out there! They look great, are easy to clean, comfortable to lie on, offer a non slip work out surface for bare feet, and don't creep or slip during class.

I have been using a traditional yoga mat for Apple Fitness+ exercises, including strength and other workouts. I have been frustrated by the need to step off the mat when doing things like lunges, or to reorganise myself so I'm working sideways to the screen. I finally decided to get a large mat like the trainers use, and found this alternative. While somewhat pricey, it's not as expensive as others. I'm really happy with the ability to use the whole mat without me having to move myself constantly. It's a great size and thickness. It's still a little slippery for downward dog, but I'm hoping over time that will ease. I'm very happy with this purchase for the way I use it.
