Miramat has stood the test of time. It is being used in fitness studios across Australia, New Zealand and Europe, where it receives a beating for up to 14 hours a day, every day. We know the long term performance of our mats, and we can confidently say that Miramat will last a lifetime.

Over the years, we have tweaked Miramat to perfection. It has an exceptional top surface that will provide all the friction you need, while not flaking off when doing workouts with shoes.

Miramat will not slide on any floor surface. You can use it on wooden floors, carpet, concrete, tiles, garage, basement and even grass.

Our mats are UV-proof and waterproof. Use Miramat inside or outside, it is up to you!

Every Miramat comes with two straps for easy roll-up, storage and transportation.

Miramat has been designed for optimal performance on carpets. It is heavy enough to hold the mat down onto the floor and provide a solid foundation even on high-pile carpets. It will not stain your carpet in any way.

We have optimised the bottom surface so that Miramat will not move around when doing workouts on a carpet. But please be aware that not all carpets are the same, and there are unlimited variations in materials, thickness, density and softness. 

Although you will not find a better mat for use on carpets, we cannot guarantee that it will work on all carpets. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with how Miramat performs on your carpet, we will take the mat back for a full refund.

Miramat is big! It is double, triple, quadruple or quintuple the size of regular exercise mats.

Miramat comes in four sizes:

Miramat is ideal for rope jumping: 

-It provides plenty of space.

-It will cushion the repetitive impacts to protect your joints.

-It will protect your floor.

-It will not be damaged by even the heaviest of ropes.

-You can jump rope while wearing shoes.

Yes! Water will not damage your Miramat. You can leave it out on your balcony in the rain, use it on a dewy lawn or even hose it down.

However, it is important that you let the mat dry completely before using it, to avoid slipping.

We've found that the regular width of exercise and yoga mats is so narrow that it significantly restricts your movement. Therefore, we decided to more than double the size, so that you can focus on your exercise instead of finding your balance on a narrow strip of mat.

7mm. It is more than double the thickness of regular yoga mats. It is made of high-density material that gives you just the right amount of cushioning against a hard floor surface.

Miramat works great with heavy weights like dumbbells, kettlebells and barbells. However, it has not been designed to have such weights drop onto it from a height.

If you are doing bodybuilding-style workouts and want to be able to drop heavy dumbbells from an upstanding position, a double or triple layer of Miramats (depending on the weights) will do the trick.

Miramat has a high-friction surface that prevents you from slipping during the sweatiest of barefoot yoga poses.

To unlock Miramat's superior grip, it is important that you pre-clean the surface before first use, according to instructions on the product label.

The mat will also need a break-in period to unleash its full potential. The friction will gradually increase over the first couple of weeks of use.

Yes, absolutely! It can handle any beating from intense exercise with shoes on, and provides plentiful space for you to move freely.

Yes, Miramat is made from impact-absorbing materials that will also absorb and reduce sound.

Yes, it works well on any surface type: carpet, tiles, wood, concrete, linoleum, epoxy, garage, and even grass.

Your mat may have some residues from the production on its surface when you first receive it. To unlock the grip of the mat, you need to do a thorough pre-clean before first use.

Here are the steps we recommend:

1. Put some mild dishwashing liquid on a damp towel.

2. Rub across your mat's surface until small bubbles start forming.

3. Rinse towel.

4. Wring towel.

5. Use towel to wipe soap residues off the mat.

6. Let your mat dry completely before using.

The top surface, where the logo is, has micro-ribs for maximum friction for the person. This is the surface you exercise on.

The dotted underside is specially designed to prevent Miramat from sliding on any floor surface.

Yes, absolutely. Miramat will protect your floor and provide extra support and padding for any of your equipment.

Miramat only comes in black.

Miramat is a high-end mat that will just get better with use and time. It will require an initial break-in to unleash its full potential. The surface will grow softer with use and provide even better friction. If you are doing cardio exercises with shoes on, it will take a week or two to break the mat in. Slightly longer for barefoot exercises.

Absolutely! 

Our mats are UV resistant and waterproof. You can leave your mat out on your balcony exposed to the weather. You do not need to worry about bringing the mat back in after every workout.

You can bring your Miramat out on the lawn for an early morning yoga session, even if the grass is dewy.

The Miramat is  easily cleaned by applying some mild soap with a damp towel. Here are the steps we recommend:

1. Put some mild dishwashing liquid on a damp towel.

2. Rub across your mat's surface.

3. Rinse towel.

4. Wring towel.

5. Use towel to wipe soap residues off the mat.

6. Let your mat dry completely before using.

Yes, roll the mat up and use the two complimentary storage straps to hold it, and it is ready for storage.
